Accompanying LGBTQ Youth and their Families

I was honored to speak at the 2020 Los Angeles Religious Education Congress on "Accompanying LGBTQ Youth and their Families." God has gifted my wife, Mary, and I with proximity to the LGBTQ community through our children and others that have walked through our door. I share what we have learned through that proximity and my own proximity to effective ministry in the US, Europe and Africa. You can listen to an audio stream of my workshop and access my statistic/resource sides below. A special thank you to ConferenceMedia.net for giving me permission to post my workshop on my webpage. My web player does not allow me to post audio on my blog for streaming alone. If you would like a personal copy of my workshop (workshop 2-20) or any of the workshops for the LA RE Congress, please purchase from ConferenceMedia.net.

Again, thank you for making this available Greg. There is so much going on with our kids, but at the end of the day, they should know that they are loved by us...by their God. They need to know that they are accepted the way they are, the way they want to be. They need to know that they are not going to walk this journey alone...their God, their family, and the loving faith community will walk with them. Thank you for listening to me...and for sharing your story....please sharing through the platform you have! /eq MrEd VeaCue on FB

Greg, What you said speaks to my heart and makes it glad. Thank you for loving your family and their friends and those of us stumbling along in our faith journeys with our LGBTQ+ kids. You are a calm and healing voice in what can be a lonely, confusing and scary place. Peace to you and your beautiful family.
